All-Level Hatha Yoga- Evenings

This class sequences a variety of basic yoga poses in a gentle stream of movement. Stretching, breathing practices, proper body alignment, relaxation techniques… you’ll learn them all. Open to all levels of experience, including beginners. Bring yoga mat.

This workout is the ideal cardio workout that requires no equipment and is done barefoot.  This is an easy-to-follow, strong and focused class for participants of all levels.  Through cardiovascular barefoot training you will develop ankle, knee and hip stabilization to facilitate good movement and prevent injury.  Over time, Barefoot Balance will have you standing taller, walking with greater confidence, and, functioning with agility.

Belly Blaster

This class targets and challenges your abdominals, back, and hips in this core strengthening class.  You will learn how to effectively strengthen your core that can help improve your posture and ward off low back pain using your own body weight and stability balls.  Appropriate for all levels of fitness.  A mat is recommended.  You may use your own stability ball if you have one. 

 

Cardio & Core Combo

This class combines a moderate (or higher if you choose) intensity 30-40 minutes cardio workout with 15-20 minutes of core strengthening exercises.  Enjoy energy building cardio that burns fat from that stubborn area and strengthening your core all in one.  Appropriate for all fitness levels so come join us and have fun with exercise.  A mat and a bottle of water are recommended for this class.

This total body workout class is a combination of low to moderate cardio while sculpting and toning. This class is perfect for beginners and participants of all levels.  Light weights will be available 3-5 lbs. Please bring a mat for some lower body exercises.  Come join us, you will be ready for some summertime fun.

Participants will be challenged with a variety of exercises developed by Personal Trainers, Cindy White and Michael Allen.  Exercises and activities will include but are not limited to:  cardio challenges, resistance & strength training, obstacle courses, and focused training on all muscle groups.  All activities will be held outside, rain or shine, and will incorporate the unique elements of the outdoor environment and equipment/facilities available.  Bring plenty of water and towel.  Registration required June 9, July 7, & August 4; late fee of $5 applied after date.

Let’s have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills.  Hand held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a stability ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for relaxation and/or standing support.

This class is a combination of intense kickboxing and dance moves to high energy motivating music where losing weight is the side effect of having FUN! Turbo Kick requires no previous kickboxing experience or equipment. You'll kick, punch and groove your way to a brand new body in this action-packed, super fun, safe, and effective cardiovascular workout!

Zumba is the best party around! Hypnotic Latin and International rhythms and easy-to-follow moves create a dynamic fitness program. Classes are designed for all levels and ages. You don't have to be a dancer to enjoy Zumba; just a willingness to have fun.

No experience is necessary.  People of all ages and abilities are invited to try the quick, easy-to-follow, aerobic dance moves to Latin rhythms.  Have fun while getting a good cardio workout!  Join the party and dance to Latin rhythms. Recommend one pair of hand weights between 1 and 4 pounds.

Zumba Gold targets the largest growing segment of the population: baby boomers. It takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the active older participant, as well as those just starting their journey to a fit and healthy lifestyle.
